Lauren Zoeller | Your Career Story

Lauren Zoeller is a life balance coach who helps high achieving individuals find and maintain work life balance. Lauren is sharing how her life was on the path to becoming a dancer and one day, one injury, changed everything she had believed in since she was 6 years old. In finding who Lauren was without dance led her on a path to yoga and finding her own balance. Lauren talks about how to discover a morning routine that works for you, what the truth is behind work life balance and how we need to start listening more to our bodies.

It’s time to quiet our minds and discover what our bodies are telling us.

What we’re talking about

  • Work Life Balance
  • Intentional Listening
  • Morning Routine

Counterbalance vs Achievement of Balance

Balance is a notion of perfection, but we never truly achieve complete balance when it comes to work and life. In order to counterbalance work and life, we have to look at the relationships we have, starting with the one we have with yourself. Taking a deep look at our spiritual practices, health, self development and how we manage healthy relationships is the first step in finding ways to balance work and life, along with being true to ourselves.

Your Morning Routine Checklist

Discovering What Your Body Is Telling You

Lauren discusses intentional listening and how often we ignore what our body is telling us. As high achievers, we tend to ignore things such as when we are hungry or need more sleep in order to get more accomplished in our day. Intentional listening is getting clear on what your body is telling you and how to give your body what it needs.

Creating A Morning Routine

Having a morning routine is all the rage right now and Lauren shares with us what hers looks like and steps to create your own. From meditating to body movement and using the Morning Pages journal is how Lauren starts every single day, making it a non-negotiable. Lauren suggests finding what resonates with you and how you enjoy starting your morning and making it a non-negotiable. Once you have one routine in place, you can build on it. A morning routine helps you start your day in balance and in the right mindspace for the day to come.
