She discusses how having staple pieces in your wardrobe not only helps you curate a collection of great outfits, but also allows you to add your personal style with accessories. Learn how to find confidence in what you wear and in how you feel wearing it, while remaining comfortable and stylish!

Let’s figure out your personal style!

What we’re talking about

  • Morning Routines
  • Style Staples - for men and women!
  • Finding Your Style

Setting The Tone For Your Day

Work life balance starts with your morning and Bri shares how her morning routine sets the tone for her entire day. It’s a simple routine that starts with brushing her teeth, taking the dog out and journaling with tea and water. By starting your day the same way, your mind knows what to expect and you are able to plan your day in a more organized way. Bri also shares how one of her clients plans out her wardrobe for the week and how it not only saved her time but helped her lose weight.

Pieces You Must Have In Your Closet

Staple pieces are articles of clothing that everyone should have in their closet. Bri recommends that whether you are a man or a woman, you need to have a tailored suit in black, navy, or charcoal. This classic suit will take you places and you can showcase your style with the way you accessorize it. Be sure to keep your colors neutral and stay away from beige and white.

Discovering A Style That Is You

If you aren’t sure what your style is, Bri says you should ask yourself what person, whether famous or not, living or dead, would you want to style your clothing after. Once you have that answer, go find some outfits on Pinterest and get some ideas on what you would want to wear. A key point to remember is to be comfortable in your clothing because comfort equals confidence.

"Stylish clothing is comfortable clothing."

"That’s actually a trick that many people in the fashion industry use...they adopt a signature style or they have what I like to call a uniform and they create different variations of that."

TIPS TO REMEMBER

There’s always room to improve and as life changes, my routines and habits need to change.

You’ll have the passion to learn what you need to learn.

There’s no shame in wearing similar or the exact same thing.

You have to figure out your style.

If you feel good in what you’re wearing, that’s going to translate.

It’s not just about how you feel, it’s about how people perceive you.
